Welcome to Enrulada!

Hey, hello! Welcome to this space called “enrulada” I don’t know if you believe in fate or chance, but whatever your inclination is, I want you to know that it makes me immensely happy that all the paths or websites brought you to these pages that are more than full of hair information, they are created from love, acceptance and reconciliation with our hair.

My name is Briguete, I am a curly girl passionate about taking care of hairs, over time I have learned techniques, methods and the occasional trick to show off great hair! But the most important thing and what fulfills me the most is that I have learned to create a very personal connection between my hair and me, yes, even if it seems a little crazy to talk about connections in this case, let me tell you that, if possible, I will tell you a little: Hair is highly sensitive and very important for personal relationships. Its presence in excess or its absence can cause serious psychological problems, hence the importance of giving it the right care depending on the stage it is going through, when you take the time to analyze the texture, volume, or movement of your hair and you notice changes or something different that makes your hair not have the same vitality right at that moment you are listening to what it is trying to tell you, now, when you learn to listen to it and identify what is happening but also how to solve it, that is when the connection I am talking about is created, you learn to identify the difficulties but also to solve them, to understand what works and what doesn’t, what ingredients or textures of products it loves and which ones it definitely rejects, you learn to find its weaknesses and strengths and most importantly you learn to know the level of tolerance that your hair strand has to withstand chemical and also natural processes, because everything is a balance, and although we always try to use only natural and non-invasive products, our scalp It can also be overloaded with it and give us results contrary to what we expect, but to reach this bond it is essential to go through certain stages where none is more or less important than another, and I who have gone through them can tell you with total certainty that the success of one depends on the result of another, and now I have the experience of having lived them and having learned, but this was not always like this, you see, the relationship with my hair has been a journey full of ups and downs, one day I was completely lost without knowing what to do or how to deal with its characteristics, fighting with its nature and hating how it looked, I could say that unfortunately no one ever taught me what to do, but if it had not been that way I would never have ventured into the wonderful journey of self-knowledge that involves giving love to your hair, that does not mean that I do not think that perhaps it would have been easier if someone had guided me, however there came a point where I learned to enjoy the process and it happened when I got tired of fighting and struggling with something that I definitely I wasn’t willing to get rid of it, so I understood that there was no point in being in constant war if I wasn’t willing to live without my hair, and that’s when I thought: I have to do something and something has to exist that allows me to be comfortable with what I have, that’s how it all began and in the journey of learning to know my hair, I found explanations and factors that had made the fight more difficult, factors like social pressure, those comments that you have surely been exposed to if you are curly, like that you don’t look combed, not at all elegant or that you are destined to live with your hair in a straight cut and a single color because your hair is bad, or if you are straight, that your style is boring because it is very straight or very thin, that hairstyles are a headache because everything falls apart, if you are wavy that your hair can’t decide if it is straight or curly, in short, countless comments that after going through this process, I now understand that They are made from ignorance, because each hair has its own pattern, unique texture, and for each one of them there is a category in which it fits and starting from that, of course a solution for each need, learning all this can be very overwhelming if you don’t know where to start, that is precisely why in this space, I want to share with you my story, my mistakes, my discoveries and my secrets to have healthy and beautiful hair.
